First day at camp…
… my handy alarm went off: “koooooniiiiiCHIIIVAAAAS”!
And I’m up – it’s 4 a.m. – feeling full of energy and ready to go, though had only 3 hours of sleep…
To be honest I’m 5 minutes early, cause my handy clock is set 5 minutes ahead of time – it helps me avoid being late.
My next move – I wake the real alarm clock by turning him off.
My bags are packed, quick shower, small snack and I’m off! But before that – I MUST burn a new CD! And that I did – placed it in my bag with hope to get it on right after I reach my car.
Of course when I got down to the garage I forgot that I had new cd and Brigita (student/assistant) was already waiting for me to pick her up. Accelerator down, engine roaring – I came flying out from underground parking lot – being late is not how I roll! Got to Brigita almost in time (^_^), her bags went into the trunk on top of my bags where my NEW CD was waiting for me… Trip continues – we went to Saulius – another awesome lecturer. Our task there was to pick some cargo off his back and so we did. Even more loot on top of my NEW CD (damn it…)… Remigijus – another awesome lecturer – joined us at Saulius place after few minutes when we arrived. He took some luggage from Saulius too. Almost full we took off to the meeting point. On the way I picked another passenger - Benita (assistant). My trunk filled up FAST and then it hit me – MY NEW CD is on the bottom of all this!!! Well things happen and nothing I could change there so I took it up like a man and played on my old cd.
When we got to the meeting point we met other half
of our team – Eimantas, Lukas, Albinas, Ignas and others. Quick changes in passengers setup and we’re off again to our final destination – THE CAMP!
Trip was awesome – I had three passengers – Brigita, Benita (mix their names till now…) and Albinas.
When we reached our destination – we had to unpack, choose rooms, pick spot for first day team building lectures, prepare for students arrival and all the
other small tasks…
