Youth…

This story comes from my own experience.

Few years back I got hooked up on the whole learning guitar idea – first step first – I got a brand new and shining guitar.
Then downloaded some video lessons and started playing.

It all went quite slow but I believed in myself and kept on learning. After some time I got a bit bored and decided to SKIP the basics and jump straight to the real thing – playing what I would love to play. This is where I met my doom – I tried playing “Everlast – What it’s like” and almost got my fingers handed to me. Looking at the demo I saw that I’m WAY too far from that level. So I kindly postponed my lessons. Day by day – till guitar ended up in her special place.

My guitar was in my wardrobe, quietly waiting for me and constantly letting me

know that it still waits for me every time I grab my suit. To calm this feeling of guilt I even changed strings – bought new ones, from America. I hoped it will make ME feel better, but it didn’t.
Then I realised one important thing – time passes by and it won’t be back – it will fly by and that’s it. We must enjoy our youth and life span as much as we can.

I got prevention from myself – next Monday I’m going to a guitar class – will nail it and that’s the best time to do so!

In the end I would like to say that go out there and enjoy your life, if you want to do something – go for it and start doing so now!

Wish you best of luck and after I’m cool with my guitar – I promise I’ll record a video!
